The item upgrade feature allows players to boost the item level for equippable weapons or armor. This increases the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls to an affix.

It is important to note that while you can upgrade magic and other common equipment, it's generally not worth the cost. Rare and exclusive equipment will quickly surpass the standard equipment and upgraded magic.
Cost
If a player wants to upgrade an item, they must spend Gold to upgrade the item. The cost of upgrading an item varies based on the current level of the item and the type of upgrade. For example upgrading a weapon will generally be less expensive than upgrading armor, since weapons have lower requirements for level. The amount of Gold required increases when the item is upgraded to an upper level.
The upgraded items will also have upgraded stats that will improve its performance in different ways. This could mean increasing the power of its attack critical strike chance, or damage per second. In upgrade item upgraded item might be able to provide extra buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost a variety of purposes such as to increase the overall strength of a particular or group unit. They can also have a major impact on the gameplay.
Any NPC that upgrades items can be found in the game. Typically NPCs can be found in capital cities or major questing areas. You can also find upgraders of items by visiting dungeons that have high-level bosses and talking to NPCs at the garrisons of your faction.
The upgrade system for items in World of Warcraft provides players with the option of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons and trinkets. The process is similar to the process of reforging gear in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the currency that is appropriate players need to visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Rerolling an item that is Rare item will result in a Normal version of the same kind, while rerolling an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same type.
Upgraded items could have additional modifiers that can improve their performance and boost their stats. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade price. They can be acquired by the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can be earned through completing specific missions in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment it is necessary to visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade an item, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 can be found from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is an important factor.
Upgrades to items can be a great way to increase your gear and ship stats without having to upgrade them. Item upgrading rewards players with a variety of items and currencies. Every upgrade has a chance to grant an unspecified stat bonus. The amount of bonus is different for each upgrade, and is usually higher for rare items. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item is upgradeable. The search can also help determine whether the item is an appropriate tier and whether the player would benefit from an upgrade.
During the upgrade process, an item will slowly grow closer to the next stage, but it is not always able to reach its maximum upgrade bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant but there is a 10% chance of getting an upgraded item within just one cycle. The higher the levels an item is upgraded, the higher its stats will be and the more items that can be upgraded.
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. Some upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components are available by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. In addition players can find upgraded items using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them with a salvage kit. Glyphs, which are placed in tools for gathering, can be freely swapped out without restrictions.
The player can transform an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button an arrow for reroll. This will change the layout of the item window and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Rerolled items will not retain their status, nor will the resources used to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its quality and tier. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels of nine, whereas common items can only be upgraded up to level six. Upgrades to items are added to the item's base statistics and will no longer increase after a specific point.
